Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1
Attach the 1x2 to the 1/4" plywood with glue and fasteners. Leave a 1-1/2" overhang past the 1x2.

Step 2
Trim the 1-1/2" down to match your circular saw foot by cutting, using the 1x2 as a guide.

Step 3
Find the center point of the 1/4" plywood widthwise. Then measure down the desired radius of the tabletop and drill hole to match the shaft size of your screw.

Attach the jig centered on the tabletop with a screw - I use a 1-1/4" kreg screws.
Cut obvious excess off with a circular saw. Then begin cutting using the circle jig, rotating and cutting, repeating until there is nothing left to remove.

Finishing
Sand all surfaces, starting with a medium grit and finishing with fine. Wipe off the dust, fill any holes or gaps with wood filler, and sand smooth once dry. Apply primer if you're painting, then finish with your choice of paint or stain and seal with a durable clear topcoat. For outdoor projects, use exterior-rated primer, paint or stain, and sealer so the piece stands up to the weather.
