Step-by-step Instructions
Cut the plywood into strips 8 feet long x 15-3/4" wide. Discard the remaining scrap piece.
From one of the strips, cut 6 dividers, 12" long. NOTE: If you wish to conceal front plywood edges, apply with an iron edge banding to the front of each of the plywood pieces. NOTE: For true bench height, cut the dividers instead at 15-3/4"long.

Drill (3) 3/4" pocket holes on each end of each divider (6 total per divider).
Attach to top and bottom with 1-1/4" pocket hole screws.

Step 3
Attach 1/4" plywood to back for structure and stability (optional). Must be done if you do not attach with pocket hole screws to prevent project from racking to the side.

Finishing
Sand all surfaces, starting with a medium grit and finishing with fine. Wipe off the dust, fill any holes or gaps with wood filler, and sand smooth once dry. Apply primer if you're painting, then finish with your choice of paint or stain and seal with a durable clear topcoat. For outdoor projects, use exterior-rated primer, paint or stain, and sealer so the piece stands up to the weather.
